What is STYLAGE® Bi-SOFT S used for?
STYLAGE® Bi-SOFT S is used in the superficial to mid-dermis for correction of fine lines and superficial wrinkles as crow’s feet, glabellar frown lines, perioral lines and tear trough area treatment under the eye. It improves the appearance of superficial lines.
What is the product's innovation?
STYLAGE® Bi-SOFT S is the first hyaluronic acid dermal filler with an antioxidant, in the form of mannitol, all within one product. The presence of mannitol, the "free radical scavenger", limits the devastating effects of free radicals on the dermis and product injected, thus reducing the risk of post-injection inflammation and preventing the gel's structure degradation.
Is there any recommended treatment method?
Prior to injecting the soft-tissue filler, the targeted areas should be cleaned and sanitized. A suitable pain-relieving agent can be used for patients with a low tolerance of pain. The filler gel should be inserted intradermally into the superficial to mid dermis. For an effective treatment, the professional in charge of your treatment will have to perform small injections using fine needles, cannulas or a Hyaluron Pen in the superficial to medium dermis. Use the linear retro-tracing technique by inserting the needle at a 30 degree angle to the skin. Also, fan-shape retrograde injection nappage. The injected areas should be gently massaged to ensure good gel integration into the facial contours in order to achieve a polished finish. As part of aftercare methods, physicians should inform patients to avoid exposing the corrected areas to extreme temperatures (e.g. saunas, Turkish baths, direct sunlight, etc.). Patients should keep the areas free of makeup but can still apply good sunblock creams. The usage manual provides more information on and directions for proper usage. Touch-ups may be necessary to enhance the results obtained. Maintenance sessions can also be set up (every 2-4 months) in order to maintain the desired effects.
How long do the results last?
As a result of the immediately visible results of the treatment, there is an increase in the client's self-esteem. The duration of effect can last for 9 months, but also up to one year for some clients. Consequently, it depends on age, skin type, sports activity and technique used.
